Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested after Police Pursuit in St. Francois County

(Park Hills) A Bonne Terre man wanted for an armed robbery was arrested Friday after leading law enforcement on a lengthy automobile chase.

David House, Senior was chased by the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department, the Highway Patrol and multiple city police units through Park Hills and Desloge to the intersection of Highway K and Hillsboro Road.

Spike strips were used to stop the van with House fleeing the vehicle.

Kristin Rust, a passenger, attempted to drive the disabled van and hit a sheriff’s vehicle.

The van was stolen from Warren County with the 48-year old House wanted on warrants for an armed robbery, along with his daughter, at Rosener’s Inn last month.

The 30-year old Rust and House now faces additional multiple charges from the pursuit.
