Arnold man arrested after assaulting Crystal City business owner

(Crystal City) An Arnold man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a Crystal City business owner.

Crystal City Police Chief Chad Helms says the incident happened on Tuesday evening around 5:30 at a business on Bailey Road.

According to Helms they worked with the prosecutors office and were able to get assault charges issued against the suspect.

39-year-old Darren Vest of Arnold has been charged with 2nd Degree Assault, Resisting Arrest, and 2nd Degree Property Damage.

He is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on a no bond warrant.
