Arnold Man Drowns In Black River

(Arnold) A 45 year old man from Arnold has drowned in the Black River.
The highway patrol says Mason Partney apparently swam into the water to help the occupants of an overturned UTV when he became wedged under the vehicle and drowned.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Reynolds County Coroner Jeff McSpadden.
The incident happened earlier this month south of the Highway K Bridge.
