Arnold Returns to Lead North County Girls Basketball

(Bonne Terre, Mo.) Making his return to North County High School, Joe Arnold has been hired as the Lady Raiders’ new girls basketball head coach.

Arnold coached the North County girls for four seasons in the early 2010’s and helped guide the Lady Raiders to a District and Sectional Championship in 2015.

He says fans can expect to see a hard-working team.

Arnold has been coaching basketball in the area for over three decades.

He spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the West County girls basketball team and led them to a 42-15 record in that span.

Back in the 2000’s, Arnold also served as head coach of the Farmington boys basketball team.

He says he continues to coach because it’s what he loves to do.

In his return to North County, Arnold says he wants his team to be one of the toughest teams to play in the area.

Arnold takes over the North County girls basketball team from Zac McVey who was the head coach for the past five seasons and led the Lady Raiders to a 95-43 record before departing to take over the Jefferson R-7 girls basketball team this offseason.
