Authorities looking for two suspects believed to have stolen multiple items in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects who they believe were involved in a rash of thefts around the county which included a stolen vehicle overnight between October 5th and 6th.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says the first case happened in the 10500 block of Victoria Falls outside of Festus when the victim called to say his 2014 Ford F-150 had been stolen.

It didn’t take long before the stolen truck was spotted being used in another crime in the 6700 block of Bailey Road in Imperial.

The suspects were then reportedly caught on camera sometime later that night in the 5200 block of Sunflower in the Eureka area where a victim says she discovered multiple tools were stolen from a toolbox that was located in the bed of her pickup truck.

The stolen Ford F-150 has not been recovered at this time.

The sheriff’s office detective bureau continues to work on leads in each stealing case to find those responsible.
