Ava Huber Lands On The Softball Dream Team

(Ste. Genevieve) Sophomore Ava Huber turned a record-setting season into a spot on the Regional Radio Softball Dream Team. Huber was the shortstop and leadoff hitter for the Dragons and broke 27-year-old school records for single-season hits (43), runs (41) and batting average (.551). She tells us about finding out how she made the Dream Team.
Huber was also named second team all-state as an infielder. She tells us how it feels to get recognized by the opposing coaches.
Becky Keim has been the Ste. Genevieve coach for two seasons. Huber says she really enjoys playing for coach Keim.
Huber wanted to say thanks to a few people, including the Softball Co-Player of the Year.
Ste. Genevieve won a school record 18 games this season and were the MAAA regular season champions.
