Baby Boomer Concert in Farmington Postponed until Fall

(Farmington) Organizers of the 18th Annual Baby Boomer Reunion Concert in Farmington have made a decision concerning their three-performance August show.

Tickets were supposed to go on sale Wednesday.

Dr. Kevin White with the Mineral Area College Music Department says the pandemic has found another casualty.

But don’t be too upset because organizers are holding out hope the Baby Boomer Concert will happen this fall.

The Baby Boomer concert features 50 outstanding musicians from all styles and backgrounds who come together once a year to recreate live, the greatest popular music recorded from the 30-year Baby Boomer era of 1955 through 1984.

All performers in the production have local ties to the region, either living here now or having grown up in the area.

Tickets for the three concerts were to go on sale Wednesday but will now be pushed back until Thursday, October 1st.

New concert dates are Friday, November 13th at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 14th at 1 o’clock and and Saturday the 14th at 7 p.m.
