Backpack for Friday Program at Ste. Genevieve School District Continues to be a Success

(Ste. Genevieve) The Ste. Genevieve School District’s Backpack for Friday Program continues to impress.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Paul Taylor says last school year they served 55 students.
Dr. Taylor says the backpack program would not be possible if not for donations.
Ste. Genevieve’s Backpack for Friday Program runs for 36 weeks each school year.
Dr. Taylor says they are currently in the process of getting letters mailed to local businesses, requesting donations for next school year’s program.
