Backstoppers Supporting Bonne Terre Police Officers

(Bonne Terre) The St. Francois County Backstoppers organization is rallying behind the family of Bonne Terre Police Officer Lane Burns, who was killed this week in the line of duty. Sarah Sundhausen is the president of the local chapter of Backstoppers. She says it’s been a tough week for first responders.

She says Backstoppers has already stepped up to help Lane Burns and his family.

In addition, Backstoppers is also planning a prayer vigil this weekend in Burn’s memory.

In addition, the Backstoppers will also be offering assistance to Bonne Terre Police Officer Garrett Worley, who was also shot and injured in this week’s attack.
