Basketball courts set to return to Sunset Park in Festus

(Festus) This past fall, the newly renovated tennis courts at Sunset Park in Festus was completed after several months of construction. As the total number of tennis courts increased from two to four, the basketball court had to be taken away. However, Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says there is good news.

Camp says the City Council will approve a plan to have a newly constructed outdoor basketball court in the works later this year.

The Festus City Council also plans to add additional parking spaces to Sunset Park.
