(IMPERIAL) In the rebirth of the “Battle of Imperial,” the Seckman Jaguars triumphed over Windsor with a 47-14 victory on AM 1400 KJFF. In the 1st quarter, with 9:11 left, Dylan Hawk of the Jaguars got the boys on the board first with a 41-yd TD run.

 
The extra point attempt was good and it was Seckman up 7-0 over Windsor. On the Owls’ first possession, a bad quarterback to running back exchange led to a fumble and a Jaguars defensive recovery. Seckman turned that into another six points.

 
The Jaguars got the extra point to gain a healthy lead on the Owls, 14-0. Moving to the 2nd quarter, Seckman’s Jacob Reynolds trucked it 24 yds for the TD.

 
Another good extra point attempt was made for the Jaguars and it was now 21-zip. With the first half wrapping up, Seckman wasn’t done. Drew Campbell achieved his second TD of the evening with just 4:38 left.

 
With another successful extra point attempt, it was now 28-0 Seckman. A few minutes later, the Jaguars got the interception. Blake Fritz obtained his first TD of the night with a 12-yd run.

 
This time, the extra point was no good and it was all Seckman 34-0. With a mere 15 seconds left, Jaguars QB Seth Lounsbury embarked on an 80-yd score.

 
The extra point attempt was unsuccessful and the halftime score favored Seckman, 40 to 0 over Windsor. The Owls started the 3rd quarter with the ball and three plays later, Derek Williams put up the first points of the 2nd half.

 
The extra point attempt was good and that made it 40-7, Seckman. The Jaguars immediately answered back as Seth Lounsbury added a 30-yd TD run.

 
With a running clock and the score 47-7 late in the 4th, Windsor’s Justin Stenger capped off the night for the Owls on a positive note.

 
In looking for positives from the game, Owls head coach Alex DeMatteis referred back to the Stenger touchdown run.

 
Seckman head coach Doug Baker said the victory was quality.

 
The Seckman Jaguars go to 2-0 with a final of 47-14 over the 0-2 Windsor Owls. Seckman will play Thursday football next week when taking on University City at home. Windsor will host DeSoto next Friday for the Cole’s Tractor and Equipment WebTV Game of the Week.
