Battlehawks Buzz Continues to Grow Following Week One Win

(St. Louis, Mo.) The 2020 XFL season began this past weekend and the St. Louis Battlehawks started off on the right foot with a 15-9 victory over the Dallas Renegades.

Battlehawks team reporter Zain Pyarali joined us on Regional Radio to discuss the game, and he says the St. Louis defense was impressive in week one.

With professional football returning to St. Louis for the first time since the Rams left at the end of the 2015 season, Pyarali says the excitement in the area is palpable.

The opening weekend of the XFL drew millions of viewers across the country and generated a ton of engagement on social media.

Pyarali says the reaction to the XFL following week one has given everyone involved a sense that league has a real chance at sustained success.

The Battlehawks will once again hit the gridiron in the Lone Star state as they take on the Houston Roughnecks this weekend.
