Be Safe the Last Few Days of Spring Turkey Hunting Season

(Centerville) There’s only a few more days left for turkey hunters to bag that big gobbler in the Show-Me State.

Reynolds County conservation agent Kaleb Neece wants hunters to continue practicing hunter safety, especially during turkey season.

Sunday is the final day for spring turkey hunters in Missouri.

As the week began, the Department of Conservation reports that Ste. Genevieve County is leading the Regional Radio listening area with 545 birds checked, followed by Jefferson County with 476 and Perry County with 419 birds. 35,662 turkeys have been tagged and bagged across the state.
