Beaches Opening at Lake Wappapello for Summer

(Wayne County, Mo.) Summer officially starts Saturday and that means Lake Wappapello in Wayne County will start seeing more and more visitors. Aleigha Alexander is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers which manages half the lake. She says swimming on lake beaches is now open after being shutdown because of the pandemic.

And Alexander says fishermen continue to use the lake.
