Benefits planned for injured Jefferson County Sheriff's Office members

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is planning a couple of fundraisers for two members of the department that were involved in traffic accidents. One of those is corrections officer Steve Triplett, as he is still recovering from an accident a few weeks ago. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says they are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of two nice prizes.

These raffle tickets can be purchased for 10 dollars and you can contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for more information.

There will also be a benefit gathering for Deputy Colby McCreary and the family at the Arnold Eagles. Deputy McCreary was involved in a tragic traffic accident a few weeks ago that severely injured him and took the life of his wife Savannah. Bissell says they are still working on all of the details of this event.

If anyone would like to donate raffle baskets or cash can do so by contacting the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The benefit for Deputy McCreary and the family will be held on Saturday night June 10th at the Arnold Meramec Eagles Club.
