Bettye Avery of Pevely passed away on Friday at the age of 88. She was a Human Resources Benefits Manager for Monsanto Corporation, a member of LeMay Baptist Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by her sons; Tim Shelley of Festus, and Dave Shelley of Pevely, one stepson; John Avery of St. Louis, and step-daughter; Debbie Gebert of St. Louis, ten grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Bettye Avery will be Thursday morning at 10 at the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus with burial in the Annapolis Cemetery in Annapolis.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
