Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Getting Hit By Car In The Early Morning

(Jefferson County) A bicyclist was seriously injured in Jefferson County early Tuesday morning after being hit by a car. Highway patrol says 58-year-old Dee Clark of St. Louis was eastbound on his bike on Route 30, near Little Brennan Road, but riding in the westbound lane around 12:40 a.m. 44-year-old Jessica Kossuth of Dittmer was driving westbound in her 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and struck Clark with her vehicle. Clark was taken to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries.
