(Fredericktown) A man from Bismarck has been arrested and charged with a stabbing that took place last month in Madison County.

The Daily Journal says 66-year-old Roy Lee Snyder allegedly stabbed another man with a knife at a home on Kelly Street in Fredericktown during an argument on February 6th.

The victim received a deep cut on his forearm and minor cut on his neck.

He was flown to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.

Snyder faces the felonies of first degree assault and armed criminal action.

Snyder pleaded not guilty in his initial arraignment and continues to be held in the Madison County jail.

His next court appearance is set for March 19th at the courthouse in Fredericktown.
