Bismarck Man Killed In Traffic Accident

(Bismarck) One person was killed and two others injured in a two vehicle traffic accident Tuesday morning in St. Francois County.

According to the highway patrol, a Toyota Rav 4 driven by 86 year old Norvel Kneusel of Bismarck was stopped on Route DD, when he pulled into the path of a truck driven by James Nicholson of Doe Run that was driving north on Route OO.

The two vehicles then collided.

Kneusel was killed in the accident while his passenger, 64 year old James Silva of Ironton was seriously injured and flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

James Nicholson sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Parkland Health Center for treatment.
