Black Bear Poached in Washington County

(Washington County) Someone killed a black bear out of season and the Missouri Department of Conservation is asking the public to help catch the poacher.
According to the department’s Facebook page, the bear’s remains were found in Washington County and reported to conservation authorities on October 18th.
Based on its remains, they believe the bear was killed sometime during the past two months.
