Bloomsdale Teen Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident

(BLOOMSDALE) A teenager from Bloomsdale was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Ste. Genevieve County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an unnamed 16-year old from Bloomsdale was driving northbound on Highway 61, south of Parkview Drive in a 2023 Can-Am side by side when he crossed the center of the roadway. He then struck the front of a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck being driven in the southbound lane by 29-year old Seth Underwood of Fredericktown. The teenager received serious injuries and was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatment. Underwood was not injured in the accident.
