(Leadwood) The West County Bulldogs have named their newest girls basketball head coach, and it is long-time program affiliate Bobby Simily who will be taking the helm. A native of the Leadwood area and a graduate of West County High School, Simily has spent the last 16 years involved with coaching in some capacity at West County, most recently serving as the coach of the junior high girls basketball team. As a result, Simily says his familiarity with the girls and the program should make for a smooth transition.

Simily adds that he is excited about the level of talent on the current roster.

The West County girls basketball team has had an impressive record of 31-13 over the last two seasons.
