Bollinger & Perry County Judge Wins Governor Appointment to Court of Appeals

(Farmington) Governor Mike Parson has appointed Judge Michael E. Gardner to the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District.

He had been the presiding judge of the 32nd Judicial Circuit which covers Bollinger, Perry and Cape Girardeau counties. Gardner will succeed Judge Lawrence Mooney, who retired in September of 2019.

A native of Cape Girardeau, Judge Gardner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.

Judge Gardner is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Missouri Bar Foundation.
