Bonne Terre Awarded Two Grants for Bridge and Wastewater Work

(Bonne Terre) Bonne Terre city administrator Shawn Kay announced to the council Monday that the city has been awarded two grants for bridge and wastewater work. The first one is a half million dollar community development block grant from the department of economic development…
Bonne Terre will need to provide about $160,000 in matching funds for this grant.
The other grant is for 50,000 from the department of natural resources…
The city will do some of the work itself to stretch the money further. The bridge and drainage project should last about two years and the wastewater engineering project should be complete by July of 2021.
