Bonne Terre Considers Property Annexation/Parking Measure

(Bonne Terre) The Bonne Terre City council dealt with some property issues at their meeting this week. Some citizens that live by Lakeview Park requested that parking be restricted by their residence.

That’s City Administrator Shawn Kay who says an ordinance is being put together for the council to consider. Auston White is developing some property on the edge of Bonne Terre and he’s requested that it be annexed into the city. Kay says the Planning and Zone board has already passed a recommendation.

Kay says some other projects are proceeding nicely this summer in Bonne Terre.

The Bonne Terre City Council also considered some liquor license applications and how best to pay for the city’s sewer project.
