Bonne Terre Prison Guards Centered Around Civil Rights Lawsuit Filed Against Department of Corrections

(Bonne Terre) A not-for-profit group made an announcement Thursday as allegations were levied against the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The CAIR Legal Defense Fund held a news conference on Facebook announcing a lawsuit they have filed alleging brutality to inmates from several Bonne Terre prison guards.

Here’s what the CAIR Legal Defense Fund spokesperson claims happened after the alleged pepper spray attack.

Attorney Kimberly Noe-Lehenbauer from CAIR then spoke during the news conference.

The Missouri Department of Corrections has yet to issue a news release or statement regarding the allegations and lawsuit because of the alleged actions at the Bonne Terre prison.
