Bonne Terre Prison Inmate Dies

(Bonne Terre) An inmate from the Bonne Terre prison has died.

A news release from the Missouri Department of Corrections says 86-year-old Jerry Strong died Tuesday from ‘apparent natural causes’.

Strong was serving 30 years after being convicted in Cape Girardeau County for first degree robbery.

Strong had been in prison since August of 1998.
