Bonne Terre Woman Helps With Relief Efforts In Louisianna

(Bonne Terre) A Bonne Terre woman is back home after helping with relief efforts in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida. Mary Braning is a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She says the devastation is incredible to see.

Braning says more volunteers are definitely needed in a wide variety of areas.

Braning is a retired school teacher in the area. She has also spent time serving as a volunteer helping victims of the wildfires in northern California. If you’d like to volunteer with the American Red Cross, you can go to their website, redcross.org.  Hear more with Braning below.
