Bottleneck Bridge Ride returns to normal

(Jefferson County) The 6th annual Bottleneck Bridge Ride will be back to a normal setting this year. The August cycling event was held as a ride on your own event with times being recorded remotely last year. Event organizer Andy Held says everyone is excited to have it back to an in-person event again.

Held says the ride will begin along Festus Main Street with a bit of a different twist this time around.

Stops along the longest route include…the Sandy Creek covered bridge, The Russell House in Hillsboro, Villa Antonia winery, LaChance Winery in DeSoto, and Wild Sun Winery in Hillsboro. The event is free to take part with online registration on the Jefferson County Growth Association website, JCGA MO dot org. Or you can sign up the day of the ride on Sunday, August 15th.
