Bourbon Stuns No. 1 Bismarck for Second Upset

(CALEDONIA) No. 5 seed Bourbon (2-0) has transformed Caledonia to upset city taking down reigning Valley Tournament champions and top-seed Bismarck (1-1) 101-69 in the 28th Annual Valley Caledonia Basketball Tournament .
The Warhawks’ Dillon Blue was seeing green as he cashed in a game-high 44 points, including four points in two seconds in the second quarter.
Nearly half of Bismarck’s 69 point total came from Hunter Drake’s team-high 31, including back-to-back-to-back long balls.
The fifth-seeded Bourbon has grounded both the four and one seeds to open play in the tournament. Warhawks head coach Devon Payne has the recipe for his squad breaking triple digits.
Bourbon will advance to the tournament finale against the second-seed Lesterville Thursday night on J98.
