A high-speed chase led to the arrest of a 33-year-old Bunker resident Tuesday night in Farmington.

Farmington police chief Rick Baker provides the details.

While the Jeep eluded the officer for a short time, Baker says the officer caught up when the suspect started doing damage.

Eventually, Baker says, the chase ended.

While the suspect had a seizure after being taken into custody and was treated, the Bunker resident was eventually taken to St. Francois County Jail.
Farmington police are pursuing charges of driving while intoxicated, third-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, and other traffic violations.
