Bunker Man Serious Injuries in Dent County Crash

(Dent County) A man from Bunker was seriously injured Monday morning following a pickup truck accident in Dent County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Dent County Road 6040, a mile south of Highway 32 when 29-year-old Brent Strange swerved his pickup to avoid another vehicle that was not identified.

That’s when Strange’s 1988 Chevy pickup ran off the road, he then overcorrected and then the truck ran off the other side of the road, hitting a fence and then a tree.

Strange was seriously injured and had to be flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
