Business Burglary Outside of Festus

(Festus) Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a burglary that occurred at a business in the 2800 block of Highway 67, south of Festus during the late evening hours on August 11th.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says around $5,500 worth of items was taken from the business.

Detectives have identified a person of interest in the case and are currently working on tracking down the stolen property.
