Busy Time For Farmington Parks & Rec Sports Leagues

(Farmington) This is a busy time of year for the Farmington Parks and Recreation Department.

Besides getting the water park and splash pad ready for use, all kinds of sports leagues are having signups right now, or they are about to start playing games.

Parks and Rec Director Doug Stotler says Wednesday was the deadline for the Farmington Youth Baseball League.

The recreational volleyball league is for those in grades 3 through 8 and those games will be played Saturdays in June.

Also, the deadline to register for Farmington Church League softball is this Sunday with games played Tuesdays with the first games scheduled for May 2nd.
