Cadet Woman Had Quite The Life

(Old Mines) A Washington County woman was one of 16 children.

She was born in a log cabin in Happy Hollow on January 23rd, 1923, and she had quite the time here on Earth.

Luke Turnbough looks back on the life of Monica Rita Koch of Cadet who passed away on February 8th, just 16 days after her 100th birthday.

The funeral service for Monica Koch will be Saturday morning at 11 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines.

Burial will be at the church cemetery followed by a reception at the St. Joachim Catholic School cafeteria.
