Caledonia Man Injured in Crash, later Charged with DWI

(St. Francois County) A Caledonia man was injured in a single vehicle accident in St. Francois County on Monday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1996 Toyota Tundra being driven by 31-year-old Eric Crook was driving westbound on Hazel Run Road, east of Hillsboro Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, began to skid before overturning.
Crook was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained moderate injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
Crook was later charged by the highway patrol for Driving While Intoxicated.
