(Caledonia) A rare event for 2020 will take place next weekend in Washington County and that is a old fashioned festival.
Most festivals have been cancelled this year because of the pandemic but in the beautiful Village of Caledonia, the annual Pumpkin Festival will be happening on Saturday, October 10th.
Debbie Bay is one of the organizers.
She says activities get underway next Saturday morning with a big parade.
Bay names a few events that will take place not long after the parade wraps up.
We asked Bay if Caledonia Pumpkin Festival goers need to know anything ahead of time as far as stipulations at the festival because of the pandemic.
Next Saturday’s Caledonia Pumpkin Festival, which runs from 10 until 4, will also have live music, good food and drink, pumpkin games, mechanical bull rides, pony rides and a whole lot more.
