Callahan Tabbed as Next Farmington Boys Basketball Coach

(Farmington) It wasn’t too long ago that Coach Callahan was calling the shots for the Farmington boys basketball team. This coming year coach Callahan will once again be leading the Knights, but instead of Justin, it will be his son Garrett. Garrett helped to lead the program to its only final four only seven short years ago as a player. He’ll try to duplicate that success now as the head coach…

Garrett has served as the assistant for Terry Noble for three seasons and lists Noble and his dad Justin as his two primary coaching influences…

At only 25 years old, Callahan seems to be on the fast track in securing a coaching position for a winning class five program. Even he didn’t think it would happen this soon…

Garrett doesn’t necessarily demand his team play only one way, but he does have a short list of attributes that winning teams must have…

And just like his dad, Garrett says he’ll be willing to adjust strategies depending on the opponent…

Callahan says it’s a great time to be a Farmington Knight…

Callahan graduated from Farmington High School in 2014.
