Caly Otec of St. Pius Volleyball is the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week
(FESTUS) The newest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week is St. Pius volleyball outside hitter and senior Caly Otec.
Otec led the Lancers to a North County Tournament championship this past weekend with 62 kills, 36 digs, and 10 aces. Prior to the tourney, Otec led the team with 11 kills and 9 digs during a two-sets-to-none win over perennial powerhouse Lutheran South in the Lancers home opener. St. Pius head coach Shannon Leftridge says that Otec is killing the game this season.
Coach Leftridge adds her thoughts on what Caly’s reaction to winning an award like this will be.
As part of the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week award, Caly Otec will receive a t-shirt, a certificate, and the Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy will donate 25-dollars to a non-profit of Caly’s choice.
