Camp Hope Open House Saturday

(St. Francois County) An open house will be held on Saturday at Camp Hope in rural St. Francois County. Camp Hope was established by Mike White and his wife after the death of their son, who was serving in the military. It’s mission is to help other war wounded veterans. One of those veterans who will be at Camp Hope this weekend is Maria Dupertuis. She says Camp Hope has made a huge difference in her life.

Dupertuis says she was injured not once, but twice while serving in the Air Force.

Saturday’s open house will begin at 10 o’clock. There’s going to be tours of the facility, guest speakers and a chance to meet with veterans. Camp Hope is located off of Raby Road in rural St. Francois County. Hear more about Camp Hope below.
