Camp Hope Set To Help Veterans

(St. Francois County) A couple of events will be held to raise money and awareness for Camp Hope in rural St. Francois County. Mike White is the founder of Camp Hope. He tells us how they got their start.

White says they’ve helped over a thousand veterans since Camp Hope opened. He says the response they get from the veterans and their families has been amazing.

The annual Camp Hope Poker Run is set for Saturday, August 28th starting with a breakfast at 8 o’clock at the AmVets in Desoto. Then, an open house will be held on Saturday, September 11th at Camp Hope, which is located on Raby Road. The public is welcome to be a part of both events.
