Cancellations Impacting Area Food Pantries

(Fredericktown) This would have been a big weekend for the food pantries in Madison and St. Francois counties but not now because of the coronavirus. Teri Moss is one of the organizers of the Feed the Families Bake Sale and Auction held in Fredericktown. She says it’s frustrating but understandable.

Elizabeth Poston helps organize Feed My Sheep, which would’ve been held in Desloge to help food pantries in St. Francois County. She says people can still donate to the pantries.

There’s no word yet as to when either of these two fundraisers will be rescheduled. Both events raised close to 25-thousand dollars last year.
