Cape Girardeau Is Closest Location For Public Hearing for Ameren Rate Hike Proposal

(Cape Girardeau) The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a public hearing in Cape Girardeau on Thursday night, February 23rd at 6 to receive customer comment in an electric rate increase case filed by Ameren Missouri.

This hearing was originally scheduled for January 31st but was postponed due to bad weather.

The hearing will be held at the Osage Community Centre in room 1AB.

The center is on Kingshighway in Cape.

The meeting will consist of a public informational question and answer session conducted by P.S.C. staff, followed by testimony from the public.

Comments will be limited to five minutes per person.

This is the closest location to our area that one of these meetings have been scheduled on the Ameren rate increase request.
