Cape Girardeau man assaulted at Pevely Motel, Pevely man arrested

(Pevely) A 22-year-old Cape Girardeau man was assaulted at a Pevely Motel early on Saturday morning.
Pevely Police Chief Mark Glenn says officers responded to the Super 8 Motel for a report of an assault.
The suspect, a 26-year-old man from Pevely was arrested for Felony Assault and Felony Resisting Arrest.
The suspect also had an active felony warrant for Probation Violation. He was turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
