Cape School District Issues Mask Mandate

(Cape Girardeau) The Cape Girardeau Public School District has issued a mask mandate.

That’s after a rising number of absences.

The school board met on Tuesday evening, to address its COVID-19 entry plan that now requires all students, staff and faculty to where a mask.

Officials say 28 students currently have COVID-19 and hundreds of others are in quarantine.
