Car Accident On Wet Road In Dent County Injures Woman

(Dent County) A car accident in Dent County Friday morning resulted in a woman from Licking receiving serious injuries. Highway patrol says 41-year-old Deborah Shrout was eastbound on Route ‘V-V’, one mile west of MO-119, when she lost control of her 2001 Dodge Ram on a wet road. Shrout traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree, overturned and was ejected from her pickup truck. Shrout was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital to treat her serious injuries.
