Car Thieves Make their Way into Ste. Genevieve County

(Bloomsdale) Car thieves have found their way to Ste. Genevieve County.

Two pick-up trucks were recently stolen from the Bloomsdale area.

Jason Schott is the chief deputy of the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Department.

He says they are seeing more and more vehicle thefts.

Schott says it’s easy to stop these type of vehicle thieves…just lock your vehicle doors at all times.

A Chevy pick-up and Ford pick-up were the latest vehicles to be stolen from Ste. Genevieve County.

As of right now, those two trucks have not been recovered and no arrests have been made.
