Cardinals Hall of Famer Jim Edmonds previews 2020 World Series

(St. Louis) Late October means it is time to crown a Major League Baseball champion.

Game 1 of the 2020 World Series is Tuesday as the American League champion Tampa Bay Rays face the Los Angeles Dodgers, once again N.L. pennant winners.

St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Famer Jim Edmonds joined KJFF Sports Talk Monday to preview the matchup.

He says while he expected to see the Dodgers back in the Fall Classic, the Rays have put together a surprising run.

Former Cardinals outfielder Randy Arozarena has had a monster postseason and was named MVP of the A.L. Championship Series.

Edmonds points to Arozarena and a slugging Dodgers outfielder as not just big parts of the series, but also as the players that people get most excited to see.

Edmonds helped the Redbirds win one of their 11 World Series titles in 2006.

Game 1 between the Rays and Dodgers starts at 7 Tuesday evening on your local FOX station.
