CARES Act Money to Help Fund Child Care in Missouri

(Jefferson City) Child care is important when it comes to getting Missouri back to work.

Money from the CARES Act will go to aid child care in Missouri.

Jennifer Tidball is the acting director of the Missouri Department of Social Services.

She explains.

Tidball says the changes are temporary.

Families could receive an increased amount of money with no family to receive less than 60-percent of the max amount offered.

The money is also going to help child care providers.

Application are now open.
