Catalytic converter thefts continues to be a problem

(Jefferson County) Catalytic converters were taken from a number of vehicles in the 4000 block of Athena School Road in De Soto.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell says they received word of the stealing on October 31st.

The theft of catalytic converters continues to be an active crime trend across the region.

The sheriff’s office detective bureau continues to work on leads in the case to find those responsible.
